Policy relating to cookies and other tracers

1. Introduction

Tempora uses cookies on the domain www.expo-passionhapon to make the website usable by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. We also use analytics and advertising tracking cookies. We invite you to read this policy.

2. What is a cookie ?

A “cookie” is a text file placed on a user’s device when connected to the Internet.

The term “cookie” should be considered in the broad sense and covers all cookies or tracers placed and/or read, for example, when consulting a website, reading an email, installation or use of software or a mobile application.

All users are affected, regardless of the type of terminal used: computers, smartphones, digital tablets, video game consoles, etc.

A “cookie” is saved on the device by the Internet user’s browser during their first visit to the site. It can then be retrieved during a subsequent visit to the same site. The information contained in the cookie and retrieved during the subsequent passage will be sent back to the web page which generated it, that is to say either to a page on which the user is located (“first party” cookie) or to a web page of another third party site (third party cookie).

3. What are cookies for and which cookies do we use?

Cookies can, for example, be used to reload pages and recognize a user's visit to page layouts (e.g. display language). They can also create a more pleasant experience for the user when visiting the page by remembering the user's preferences.

There are several types of cookies. Some require user consent while others rely on other purposes.

This site uses:

  • Technical cookies

They are necessary for browsing the site and accessing the services. These are technical components, and cannot be deactivated or configured otherwise you will no longer be able to access the site and/or the site's services. These cookies do not require consent.

  • “Preference” cookies

Preference cookies allow a website to remember information that changes the way the site behaves or is displayed, such as your preferred language.

These cookies are triggered as soon as a web page is displayed, or when a particular action is performed.

  • Cookies used to obtain browsing statistics

Statistical cookies allow the website owner to understand how users interact with the website.

  • Cookies used for advertising/tracking purposes

Advertising cookies are used to track the user across websites. The purpose of these cookies is to offer targeted advertising based on the user's profile.

4. Your choices regarding cookies

If you want to know which cookies are installed on your device or if you want to delete them, you can use a setting in your browser. You can find more explanations on how to do this via the links below.

4.1. Refuse a cookie via browser software

Non-exhaustive list:

Disabling all cookies will prevent the user from using the site under normal conditions, except for basic functions.

4.2. Refuse to be tracked

The browser can be set to send a code telling websites that the user does not want to be tracked. (“Do No Track” option).

Mobile devices may also offer “Limit Ad Tracking” (on iOS) or “Prohibit Tracking” (on Android) settings.

4.3. Modification of the choice relating to cookies

If the cookie choice is changed, we no longer use cookies, but they may still be present in the browser.

We invite you to delete unwanted cookies via your browser settings (see point 1 of this chapter).

5. Personal data and privacy

This cookie policy may be adapted to indicate possible modifications. The date at the bottom of this document indicates when changes were last made to it.

If we wish to use cookies for which you have given us permission for other purposes, we will ask your permission.
